So everyone is usually in need of a part or two at some time to keep their CL looking fresh or at least on the road. Since it is so hard to locate a CL for parts, can anyone post on the things they have done to help locate a parts car that has worked in the past for them.
Craigslist, car-parts.com, lkq, copart....etc. Just thought I would start a thread since I have yet to get my hands on one in a junkyard. I wish I could and since I am currently in NY maybe I will have a better chance of finding one.

 

idk man im down in florida what i used to do is have this guy who owned a junkyard jus keep a lookout for me lol you should try to do the same

 

There seems to always be one or two in the junkyard around me for some reason

 

i need to ask him for some window regulators.

 

After posting this I happened to do some searching. I found two complete 97 Acura CLs in Bayshore New York, about 10mins from where I am right now. Wish it was a pick a part joint, but I cant start getting greedy.

when i needed parts after my crash i found a place 200 miles away (THE CLOSEST PLACE WITH A BUMPER AND AIRBAGS) that had 10 first gen acura CL. it was in upper michigan, had to drive there in the winter too. in a RWD 300zx

it was scary.

 

I have never been able to find any CL's in any junk yard anywhere around me since I have had mine. I am not sure if I know every place or not but have tried every pull a part place I know of and even the import junk yards I have heard of and none of them have had any any time I have called. There is only a few misc pieces I need mostly because I have upgraded things on the car but have never had any luck finding the parts I need even online because they are parts that are hard to find, like the plug that plugs into the heated seat switch
