yeah i think ur right, i was just lookin at the specs, and it only puts out 160 horses, and thats only 10 more than me. anyways, but i just thought it would be a cool idea, i mean u could get one for cheaper than an h22 i bet, and it would be perfect for non vtec turbo

or you could do the frankenstein.. 187whp. bout 220 to the crank.. its basically a h22 stroker motor. kind of expensive but if you do it right itll be bullet proof. i did one for my homies h23 prelude that blew the timing belt. it was alot easier than it looked on paper. and that mofo screamed. i never got a chance to race him with my 3.0 i/h/e cl but im sure he'd kick my ass.

and if you do boost then its the perfect motor. what you really need is a carbon fiber hood.

same as h22 8700 but being a stroker i wouldnt bring it past 7200 for too long.. unless you do the oil injection. theres people who do 8k all the time and never have a problem, but some go 7500 and poof.. as long as you keep good oil in it and the proper fuel mix and temp,, shell run forever,..

the h23 has a limit of 6800 cause of the stroke. but it can go higher..

naw man, you can do that.. but its the same ammount of work to do a h22 head on a f23 block..

(fyi) the h23 and f23 have the same block and guts, down to the pistons and pushrods, and crank.

the g23 vtec is the h22 head on f23 block. same shit but you have to use all h22 timing parts. including the water pump. the f23 ecu should work temporarily but it needs the p13 to run right..

The H22head/F23block sounds interesting but how much would a shop charge to do the necessary work?
