h22 swap underway!!
i just (last thursday) purchased a jap h22 from honda motors online. I also picked up the 5speed LSD. I am going to be swapping them into the car as soon as i get all the parts. I am going to be using the ODB1 ecu. Wish me luck and if anyone has any suggestions or usefull comments, please...fire away!! Ill keep everyone posted.

its not an h22A, just h22, i think the A is the american version...correct me if i'm wrong. But anyway, i got it for $2200
i pay the shipping when it gets here. Pretty good deal if you ask me, and they seem to havea good reputaion.

The h22a is the jdm version of the engine.
The h22a1 is the usdm version from '92-'96 and the h22a4 is the usdm version from '97-'01.
H22 is just generic term for any of the above engines.

hey, dude good luck with your h22 engine swap
i am doing the same thing with my 97 cl 2.2 auto
2200 is good price for a jdm h22, i think??
i bought mine ( which is sitting in the garage to put it into my cl) for 2300 from a friend
what other parts are you waiting for??
didn't you get all the parts you need to have from honda motor??
or are you upgrading your h22
that's what i am gonna do when i get the money
are you gonna do the swap by your self??
my shop is going to do the swap for about 500 since i got the hook up
what are you planned to do after h22
i was wondering if the t66 turbo will fit our cl? or is it too big??

dcsquirm88 thanks for clearing that up, i wasn't totaly sure which codes were what.
CL-Pride by parts i mean that i am waiting for a manual shifter assembly, axels, engine, tranny, etc.... its more than likely that i am still going to end up needing a few parts that i didn't get before hand. Hey and by the way..if anyone has a list of things i will need for sure to install a clutch into an auto please send it my way!!!
I have a buddy that is putting it in for me, he is real good with hondas and toyotas. So hopefully things go smoothly.
No planned mods yet beides what i have now...but once i get some more scrilla...ill be doing a lot of things.
