I want to get the h22 but... I have heard my a/c wont work correctly again and i also need to know if i need to get anything else when i do the swap. Is the engine, tranny, ecu all i need or do i need to get different headers etc.? Anyone that has completed the swap please fill me in . Also please tell me how everything is running. I dont wanna do the swap and have problems. my car drives 1000 miles (at least) a week. LaTeRz

turbo...............because once you spend all this money on a swap, sadly, your car will be no faster than a prelude...yep, a prelude

kind of depressing, isnt it

hey buddy! thanx, but it would be alot better then what i got now. Our engines SUCK! no upgrades, can't even get a dam cam, unless i send the thing out. H22 can be fully modified. Did you know that?

To do the swap you’re going to need an h22a with a tranny (5spd. or auto from a lude) and the ecu. Our transmission will bolt right on to the h22a but they wouldn't hold up very well with the added HP. The AC will still work. The only time the AC doesn't work is when people cram h22's into tiny engine bays of hatchbacks, leaving no room for the AC compressor. You can use the stock prelude exhaust manifold and down pipe that comes with the prelude block. The down pipe won't line up perfectly with your existing exhaust system so a little work to your exhaust piping by a shop might be needed. The car should run the same as new especially if you get an engine with low miles and the swap is done properly. The swap is well worth it and will open the door to lots of mods that were previously inaccessible from turbo to insane NA build-ups.

turbo works on making power off the horsepower thats allready present.. so ideally you'd want 200hp stock rather then 145hp for a turbo.. wouldn't yah.. yah? what? i can't hear.. what?

Actually it so much better than an f23a or f22a engine. It is totally worth it especially if your considering a turbo. There are so many more parts for an h22a vs. f23a and f22a. Like f0de said you will be gaining lots of hp with the h22a and a turbo. Not only that but you will be able to boost much more on a h22a. The h22 is a stronger block any way you put it around.

this i do know. My boy is getting me a brand new turbo kit. I am building him a website to sell turbo, auto performance products for exchange of a turbo. I am also starting to eventually sell parts myself, so when i build the shopping cart, i will actually be building it for myself and putting his logo on it. I think that works out. I wanted to do the h22 first. My engine has some ass woopin on it, also before turbo i want to build the h22. i want raw power first, you guys know where im comming from.

Fode, i talked to you on the phone a while back and i need to call you again about a motor. can you email me your # turbotk@adelphia.net
