So basically you are saying you would beat or run even with Xrunner86X's F23 turbo setup? He was running like mid 14's with a T3/T4 turbo.

as it stands, no. Me being NA give me advantage over him however, but i just dont know yet. He was pushing more hp than i am, but then again, im Alot lighter than he is. He was running..like you put, mid 14s. I havent gone to the track yet so id dont know what ill run without this weight. my last run was 14.91 so we'll have to see.

no offense, but why would you rip your whole car apart to shave off.3 on your quarter mile
time when you could have just bought a civic bubble did the same shit and been killin shit. all that doe you spend you prob would have an 11 sec bubble. a cl to me is a luxury vehicle and unless you plan on droppin mad dough and make it a striaght track car i just dont see the point. you got that nice ass paint job then you destroy a nice interior for .3 off the quarter and let's be real 13.x is not all that fast. for a 1st gen cl it is but cmon. to each his own just adding my 2 pennies

? i havent gone to the track yet with this setup. Also, The whole point is to Turn this into a track car. I like the body of the cl but everything else isnt basicaly shit to me. And yes... I do plan on having alot $ put into this car. Since im earning the dam money, i feel i have say as to whats best to do with it. If you havent followed the construction of this car, then you'd ask "why" but if you have, then everything is clearly explained down the last bolt

the first gen cl is barely a lux car anyway. Its just another accord with leather seats...hardley a "lux" car.

as for 13.xx not being fast..... Its very fast in for a cl. The whole goal is to make the CL as fast as possible ..for now.. using only the f motor ( im not swapin till i blow this when up..i prolly should though ) Anyways, im not close to my goal yet, even shineys car is still quicker by .5 or so seconds when i had full interior but then again, im not sprayin 125 glorious juice.

shiney. btw, you should be ALOT quicker that 14.8 with n20, similar setups on some accords are low 14s some even high 13s

now that ive been challenged, i have the urge to rip EVERYTHING out of my cl sept for the two racing seats, then buy circular padding and paint all the frame work, then take my ac out then.... you get my point. This car is for fun. NOBODY would know its stripped because you simply cannot see inside with the tints. plus...im trying to pull a cocao, looks comes second, speed first. ( sept cocoa will own me when we race down here )

So does this rant mean you dont have a slip to back up your 14.9 before stripping the car.

Nice times for a F series NA. That would smoke the 3.0 easily. Why are you only going to run a 75 shot? You want me to give you the fuel jets for a 100 shot? I don't need em, since I'm using the 125 shot. With your CR, I'd be at a 125 shot imo. 9.6 CR is what your running, correct? That's what the J30A1 runs stock.

because it's been done time after time after time in the eg's.....i think that's what makes this project so interesting. Not too many people can say they were the first to do something. plus, everything has to start somewhere. what do you think people were saying to those that were doing b16 swaps into eg's for the first time and only running 13's back in the early 90's. but look where it got them. this could be a start for car freaks to take a look at the CL and use it as a shell.....if they wanna look clean going down the track...I honestly love the way it looks. I understand what you mean though, that it seems pointless to do it to this car when it would take less effort to accomplish more if we were to chose another shell, but I fell in love with this project.....I love looking at the faces of people at the street races when they lost to a 1st gen CL.....and always ask if it's a teggy, lol...

btw a fully stripped teggy (DA I believe, but maybe it was the DC2) runs 12's with an H22 and only intake, headers, race pipe, and exhaust.

The only way to find out what the CL can do fully stripped with a F series is to try it. But I can't wait to see his car with an H series in it. Although I would honeslty go for the K series. I believe they have the mounts for the 5th gen accord already.

Anyways, I can understand both sides of the party, and I think most of us can. But for those that dont, oh wells, who cares. Just let it be..

The car looks clean btw Alex.......my shit looks ghetto, lol....and the lip stays unpainted, lol...

I'm assuming it's going to be the muscle car freaks that I've heard of, of the tri state area......that's all I hear about, that it's like TX when it comes to muscle cars. Fucking insanely fast!

not at alllll. scummy looking bubbles and early 90's teggys, CRX's, EK bubbles, EK coupes, EVO's, STi's, SRt-4. every now and then you'll see a some guido in a mustang or trans am show up.

and plus not even mentioning the potential of the F22. we also have the J30 which has endless possibilities, the project COCOA is working on, which to me is amazing. and the H22 is also ever capable. all engines that belong in our cars. and our car really isnt that heavy compared to the other boats on the road.

Incorrect at the P I raced anyone..I've raced bubbles, coupes, and 1.8t and Subuzz's 3.0 .. I race to see where my car stands. There used to be this Chevy Colorado pickup that would run all the time too against the bubbles. Yet you would get your cats running serious turbo but who knows whats gonna happen since I think it may be shut down for good.
