gunmetal/black rims on a black car???
how do you think that would look? any one have pictures or 18"s in gunmetal on a black car? thanks!

Horrible. Hate the look.
If you want a dirty car dont clean it. The flat black wheels on all the imports were started with steelies....if thats what you want....

"steelies?" dunno what that is... yea, i liked silver at first, but after seeing my friend's si with black spoons, i'm not so sure anymore... ???

actually i'm still looking for a lightweight 17 in gunmetal for my black cl. i love the look, silver is too hard to keep clean
i'm debating nippon's or velox
but both are kind of heavy still

GUN METAL does NOT look like a "steely"! It looks like charcoal or a black chrome! Flat black wheels are painted black and those look like "steelies"....
The GUN METAL rims on black look hot!!! DrewHa (do not know if he is still using that name) but he is still on the board has it... looks real real good!!!

People out here have been running black and gunmetal rims on hondas since the early 90's. It was one of the original craze's in the import scene. It didn't come from steelies. And most steelies aren't black, they are painted that way.
here's a pic of my car, the wheels are bronze not black but you get a general idea, but according to neidjeb my car probally looks pretty dirty, so excuse the mess
. However, I have actually taken better care of my car since i went to the dark look then when I had my c2's. Cause having the car all black makes it really important to keep clean. Cause once it gets dirty, it looks really dirty.dark rims are a love hate thing, people either love them, or hate them, and someone with chrome usually will never even come close to liking them

i say it also depends on the type of rim..the look of it..but it does depend on what the person likes...if you like the look then get em...cuz there will always be people who like/hate the look either way...

Gunmetal rims looks good on a black car. Black even looks nice especially if they have a polish lip. I think Bronze also looks good. Both colors look good as long as they are BIG. gotta go with 18s or bigger.

I had a bud with a white viagra (integra) where I used to live. He ruined the car with gun metal slipstreams.
Its my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
Been looking for wheels for the hatch and all anyone is selling is those damn black ones.

Not gunmetal, but black i am telling you BLACK! that will look SO HOT! my lil bro has a black integ w/ white rims and shoulda gone black. I got a guy with a 2000 Celica black, droped, kit, and Black rims.... the hottest shit in the world... definitely go black!

does he think he ruined it? Do most other people? It's your opinion, you are entitled to that. I can think of plenty of none black wheels for you to get for your hatch.
