So my name is Jon, I am new to the whole Acura scene and glad to be a part of it. I acquired this Acura from a guy on Craigslist. We traded cars!!!. I couldn't believe he wanted my Honda and he didn't want his Acura. Said he was tired of driving stick. So I grabbed it. I want everyone to guess the mileage and see who gets closest. Congrats - I own a '98, 2.3 5-speed. They are ridiculously good cars.

 

So...I couldn't believe it... but the picture shows it all... When I heard that it had this many miles i was a little weary..but when i went to go see it i couldn't believe it. He handed me a packet of paperwork of maintenance records and it includes shocks, muffler, timing belt replacement 10k ago all done at the dealership. I believe this was owned by an older man with MONEY!! This is unbelievably clean for the miles.. Im going to drive this car till it cant go anymore. Also since i work on all my cars and just replaced my wife's 01 civic head gasket and timing belt with 215k miles, i dont think i will have a problem getting way past 300k miles out of it..

 

243k and counting on a 98 2.3 CL with 5-spd. All but 50k of the miles were by me. Mostly highway miles too-- still has the original clutch!
