GSR Seats in a 1st Gen Cl !!!
opinions ?
my driver seat is bad. and to replace one piece of leather is costing me $80.00 at a shop. so i found 2 gsr mint condition black leather seats to match the rest of my interior. should i buy them ? they look new and very cheap.
i originally wanted rsx seats but ther going for 300's and i dont wanna spend that much.
and does anyone know if they mount rite in to our factory holes ? or am i gonna have to drill ?

you're going to have to drill, and they look small in a CL. a user from florida had a set in his car before, didn't look right imho.

s2k seats have been done, they look sexy. im pretty sure rsx seats have as well, the s2k seats IMO hold you better, but the RSX seats are a little more comfortable. but thats just how I like to sit and appropriate for my build...

the dude that had them before had pics of them in his car which is why I said they looked small, but idk if the pics would still be up. I doubt it. I do remember it was a white cl and had an h22 in it w/a missing passenger side headlight lol. had a video of him taking down an s2k too.

go with whatever is most comfortable to you, test them all out first.
i have tried s2k seats and not any of the other ones, but i would say that i would def not buy them, no lower back support and kinda firm.
which would not work well with the way i have the suspension setup on the cl right now, i can tell the stock seats help a lot when going over bumps.
my commute is two hours a day and i have no problems with the stock seats, but half an hour driving in s2k seats did not make my back feel good at all.
the offer great lateral support and look really good tho.
i'd say go for comfort/support(side bolsters etc) first, and then go for looks after

I have RSX seats. They do sit a bit higher... but this is after having bride brix in my car... but the rsx seats do sit higher... I wouldn't be surprised if they sat close to or even a bit higher than stock. It also depends on how they are mounted. I used the rsx stock brackets... and just made the holes line up with welds in the appropriate places. Best thing to do is get the seats in hand first... then find a reputable guy/shop that welds... and you are good to go! Good luck.
