Grinding Noise

Hey i know this sounds like a noob question but my brakes are making this metallic grinding especially when i turn. It has happened before but i forget how it was fixed Is it the rotors or the pads? Any good suggestions on where to get new ones or should i stick to OEM i dont want a squeaky car. Thanks

Could be rotors or pads, probably pads. Did you try a nice laying on the brakes to see if maybe you got some debris in there? When is the last time you have changed your rotors? You may need to resurface of buy new ones. If not, prob just pads, go through your rcords or memory to figure out which one of the twoyou have had the longest.

doesnt sound like brakes...more like a ball joint. brakes squeak and squeel .... not grind unless you apply the brake
