Got Stuck. Need Assistance. (header)

WEll first off the reinforced area for the cl is kinda short... I have trouble getting the jack stands under the reiforcements when using a jack. Any suggestions on that?

Started removing the heat shield and the top 2 bolts were stuck like no other... the bottom one came of nicely with a bit of elbow greese. kept torquing the first 2 with a regular length ratchet... I break the damn bolt in half. I think no worries I don't need the header since half of the bolt is stuck inside the stock header...

Heat shield is off and I loosen the bolts at the top of the header. no much problem there. I get to the bottom 2 spring bolts... I end up unbolting the wrong section first.... but then I make a trip to autozone to pick up some 12mm and 14mm wrenches. Get back and then get the right spring bolts off.

Actually first I tried to get the 3 bolts that attach the top and downpipe of the header loose but I couldnt do it put some WD40 on it and let it sit while I went to work on the spring bolts.

I took off the 6" piece with the O2 sensor on it I'm not sure what part to take off... the whole piece where the hex part is? or is it more like pull it out of the socket.

So I'm stuck with my 6" piece of the pipe off the car no heat shield and unbolted top part of header and then a stuck together top and downpipe of the header. Any suggestions of how to get those apart? If I could get it apart I think putting it all together would be a breeze.

Thanks,

Assistance welcome. Shit.

did... im no n00b....

that is how I got the directions to do it... I'm talking about fused/seized bolts... only way to get them off is drill them out, just like when rear suspension bolts seize?

sigh I guess it won't happen. I'm gunna put the exhaust piping back on and reattach stock headers.... is it a problem if I'm running with no heat shield? I'm assuming not since aftermarket headers do not use the heat shield. Also if anyone has a drill I can borrow for a bit that lives around LA let me know, thanks! or wants to stop by to help for an hour or so.

to update you guyz... spent another afternoon putting the exhaust back together and drove it to pep boyz to see what they could do. They got some cool rachets that are 100 bucks and they loosened one bolt for me... the other 2 they say need to be heated up with a blow torch so they can get them out, they are going to charge me 15 bucks. not bad so I'm going to get that done tomorrow and then hopefully install the header, should have pics tomorrow too, and then setting up appointment to get the tein SS installed, but the more I think about it, the more I think I can do it myself.
