Got a ride in the S/C CL-S 6spd!!!!

Hey all,
We had a West Coast meet over the weekend in Oregon. We had a suprise guest... The Comptech supercharged CL-S!!!!

After checking it out up close, we all got to take a spin in it..

THAT THING IS FREAKIN NUTZ!!!! FAST AS H#LL!!. It just pulls and pulls and pulls!! Needless to say, I was very impressed. The Brembos on the car made it stop on a dime too!!

I might have to go get a 6 speed...

Damn!, I'm jealous!

Did you get to drive it?

I would have loved to take it for a spin (although, no one else would get a turn to drive it)!

I only got to sit passenger. That car put me back in the seat like a mofo! The Comptech guy was nice enough to take everyone for a quick spin.

The cops/law in Oregon is weird to say the least.

Pics of the car, along with the meet pics are here...

Send a PM to soopa or astroboy.

Dyno #'s on the 3.2 Type "s" 6-speed were 305-310 to the wheels at 5 psi.

The gentleman from comptech was told of these number and said that is the "minimum" that the car is putting out.

He also said this car has NO problem pulling on M3's. Straight line and at the track!!

I rode in a Z28 (LS1) with intake and exhaust and thought that was fast. This CL would smoke the shit out of that car!!

Thats quick...But did they modify the tranny so it can hold that much power? Or is it just the OEM?

Yeah, the didn't do it to the auto. That's how it handled the power.

Really, it's a stock 6 speed. Their concern is with the autos and the high temps that they are running. They had to put on a tranny cooler and run Redline tranny fluid to make it work for the auto.

did thatSC 6 speed have the tranny cooler? is it needed? i might get the supercharger package and i dont want any chance of detonation.. i'll probably be driving it on trips and stuff for lengthy periods.. i dont know if that is a factor
