got a new sub but...

anyone help me out here? i just replaced my sub with the rockford power hx2 15" and now the shit don't work. bought it today brand new. could it be the amp? i hooked everything up, and the power light turns on (the amp) but no sound coming out the sub. any suggestions as to what might be causing this? maybe a vibration to the amp knocked something loose inside it? anyone? please...

What I did was blew 3 channels in my 4 channel amp...either the positive got loose and touched my negative or the other way around...that might have happened to you...

Actually Rockford Fosgate makes excellent products...the only reason the channels in my amp blew are because I'm an idiot...their amps are one of the best amps produced in the market...

not to be a penis but no there not
there 4 channels amps have crappy crossover in them the hardware and powersulppie suck ass in them

but that is my opinion
i am not nocking you for using them and likeing them in anyway
i would just use a PG .4 amp or .2 for subs any way
