Got my baby back

My car's timing belt went and took my motor with it back in December- just now FINALLY got it back I looked around for a shop who was willing to throw in an H22, but I had no local takers and I needed my car back ASAP. Well, the ASAP didnt happen but I finally have it back in the driveway, with a less than 30,000 mile motor inside her. I can definetly feel the difference- way more responsive and not a single check engine light or engine surging I'm gonna pick up hte old block and rebuild it up for a turbo set up. Sorry such a long post- just very excited to get my car back!

That is really cool. I am glad you found a shop that did not leave your ecu trying to figure out an impropper configuration. These swaps don't need to kill the spirit of the car.

I think you are confused, or I was confusing in my thread- It's still an F23. Total after tax was $3,100. Not cheap but you would be surprised at some of the other quotes... up to $4,500! This is the first time it's been clean in months and I cant find my digital camera

part of it was the shop ( took almost a month) and part of it was me having to come up with over $3,000

SR20 Engine swap would be cool, if our cars were RWD.
