Got the CAI, but i've got a question

I bought my CAI about a week ago (http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...cid=86&pid=770) and it should be here within a few weeks. They told me that it does not come with a K&N filter, just some off brand one.

I plan on getting a K&N filter and swapping it out. My question is what size would fit? I searched but could not find any info on what actual one fits. Also, how much do these usually cost?

Thanks.

any cone filter that has the similar size and probably 3" inlet. i advise you to purchase the filter first before installing the whole cai. you can get them local at your autozone or pep boys. go there and open em up and look at them before you purchase them. they run from 30-60/75 dollars.

just use the off brand one that it comes with till it brakes. Dont waste your money on something your not gonna see hardly any gains from.

You cant get new filters for them at a parts store. They sell the cheapo cone filters. They are like 15 bucks i think.

The K&N is the one u need, but you don't need it right away, just so u know, the comso filters are garbage though. And they whistle and hum like crazy
