Got it back!

This morning soon after I ordered the harness my mechanic called me, but I was in class and missed the call. When I returned the call he said I could pick my car up later that day and I didnt need the harness... He changed the timing cover from my old motor onto the new one. All is well except the gas peddle seems to hard to push, when I pushed it down hard it made a screaming noise.

of course. theres 2 cables on your throttle linkage. 1 is your accelerator , and the other is your cruise control. all you have 2 do is loosen the nuts up on the accelerator and then adjust them 2 wats comfy for you then tighten them up. shouldnt take you no more than 3mins

Did the motor make a screaming noise or the throttle?

Screaming noise like you are describing usually indicate a worn or loose belt. Did you put new belts on the power steering and ac when the swap was done?

Sounds like the motor which could be a belt like bg said, adjusting the throttle cable would help the mushiness of the peddle

Nope, just new engine mount, timing cover gasket, oil& filter, and radiator cap....

but IDK maybe it was just because it hadnt been ran today its great. I can only drive it around my block though because I turned in my license plate to avoid flags. however, im going get it back tomorrow. and hopefully gonna get a new headunit. mine was swiped.

no more screaming/whining noise? That's great, but I'd be wary of it coming back.

Your hu got swiped while it was at the shop?
