Goodbye Cl

Well, she is gone. She went back into the shop to get diagnosed. She just had the head resurfaced and a new head gasket. I get it back and she was losing 25 lbs out of cylinder 4. I guess there was a scratch on the sleeve. My mechanic told me that the only good way to fix it was to rebuild the motor. I told him to forget it and just put her back together. Well, he did just that. I picked it up and drove it directly to carmax. They gave me 2500 for it. Which I thought was a steal. I would have more costs had I fixed it. I am not sure of the going rate to rebuild a motor, but add a rental car on top of that for however long it took to rebuild the engine. Plus there was a other problems with the car. Plus, having a kid with a two door just plan sucks. And driving a stick everyday in traffic sucks. I have to drive a lot more than I did in Vegas and a stick was just not practical anymore.

So I replaced her with

I love it. Its a 2004 EX V-6. The mileage is a little high. 50k. But its all good. They also had a 2002 TL-S with 48k on it that I really wanted, but they sold it to some guy in Maryland. I am still undecided on modding it. I think the only things I would really do to it is lower it and rims. But even the drop would not be low. Just a little bit of a drop to get rid of the gap. But time will tell. Compared to teh CL it is night and day. Blackhousings are going to happen as well as HIDs.

Anywho. I will still be around. AZ is part of the family. I cant just up and leave. PLUS is sooooo much slower than good ole AZ...

That sucks about getting rid of the CL but your Accord is very sharp, love the color and those V6's are pretty strong

Aw Mitch, I knew this was comin for a while the way your car had been. Sorry to see her go, that's a good pick up on the accord though, I love that color. Hope you'll still stay around and remind people that very few CL's came with chrome mexican rims

on the Messican Rims... Thank god for pictures to remember them puppies by. I could never leave AZ. I mean, how else am I going to see people ask if the intake for a 97 accord will fit on our car. OR "Do they make altezzas for our car?" Or any of the 800000000000 repedative questions.

Damn man, I am sorry. I completly forgot about it. I still had the OEM one to put back in and everything. I didn't make a part out thread because I did not want to part it out. Time was an issue. I got it back on Friday, it was gone on saturday morning.

Anyways, to the requested memorial Pics.

First Day I picked her up.

Black Housings

Drop, Tint, Black Housings and Mexican Rims

Her first sight of snow, in Vegas

Overlooking the Vegas lights

Addition of Rims.

And Finally, the Accident.

Thanks for all the compliments on the Accord. Now I can finally say J30>F2.x..

Good choice on the Accord. Wifey has an '03 4cyl EX and it's a pretty good car. When I get some $$$, Im going to give it a drop & some rims. Keep it clean.
