Good News

Well looking for parts @ acuraautomotiveparts.net i found out that its gonna cost me bout $650 to buy all parts i need to install a new front bumper and new hood. so after shippin and paintin i figure it will cost bout $1200-1300 ill do all the installation. but im also havin my rear emblem holes filled and my trunk repainted. so bout $1600. doesnt sound to bad considering i paid bout 900 just for my new hood installed last time. for 700 more i get that and new bumper (painted) and my trunk painted and no damn emblem holes! im thinkin bout havin my lips molded on to the bumper front and rear but idk yet.

n e way i found these parts that seem strange to me? i though only the 3.0s have plastic underhood pieces, but i found this for 2.2 cls. does n e one have this?

Damn, 1600, doesn't sound like too much of a bargain. How much more would it cost to have the entire car repainted?

Although those parts are listed, they're for the 3.0 and most likely won't fit on the 2.2/2.3. If you check out the 4-cylinder engine bay, the mounting points necessary for the bulk head covers aren't there.

NOMAD and I were comparing engine compartments (I have the 3.0, and he has the 2.2), and we noticed that my bulk head pieces wouldn't fit in his car without modification.

BTW: Good luck with your new hood and bumper!

well i know they will do a good job cuz i been there before

they want bout
200 to paint the hood
200 to paint the bumper
and 200-300 to paint the trunk and fill the emblem holes

i didnt think that was very expensive to paint those parts of my car. maybe its just more money around where i live
