Good News~!!!

Hello all my babies from the past!

It's been a little over a year since I've owned a CL & I've missed it here and there.

SO I'm back in the market for another one.

I'm looking at two later on today:

98 black 5speed & an 01 black Type S. I've been snooping in the 2nd gen forums & now I'm feeling spoiled and want to buy myself an 03 6speed instead :p

Anyhow, thought I'd see what I missed out in this past year..

WIsh me LUck!!!

You damn right! lol

As for the cars, with the price of gas today i dont know if i'd get a 2nd gen. Although that 6spd is pretty sweet.

Darn, I wasn't even thinking about gas

I was picking up another CL for a daily.

Does it take premium?

I already have to put 93 in my civic.

Wait, you are looking for a "daily driver" to keep your garage queen civic from seeing the roads in MD/VA? Am I the only one finding this strange?

I think her civic is heavily modded. For some reason i remember it being a civic hatch w/a swap and whatnot.

And considering that you dont need premium fuel, a 2.3 might be a good bet. I've taken the 300 mile trip to my college from NY to Penn State on a third of a tank, doing 80 the whole way. City driving was great too. But honestly if you can splurge for the premium gas 24/7, i'd go cl-s6. Def not auto tho.

welcome back. Yea... having a heavily modded civic has more of a chance gettin stolen than a newer car that is lightly modded if even at all. civics/tegs are still hot on the market due to all the parts that could be sold off them. Good luck finding a new car!

This... is true & when I had my 1st gen ack when I was in cali. I treated that like my red headed step child too That ack never saw the garage but I still showed it a lot of <3 <3 <3 &

My civic isn't new it's an old EG w/ a swap & $$ dumped into it. Too many 'lil kids' wanna come & rape her so I have to keep it stashed away.

This doesn't mean that I won't take care of the ack when I get it. I <3 alll my b!tchezZ

I went to see the 98 black ack. Def. a guy didn't even take care of it. & the lady who was trying to sell me the auto type S is a huge flake. I'll most def. be in the market for a 6speed as soon as I find one. <3

hI!!! Yeah I've been lurking here & there, but not having a CL anymore really doesn't give me motivation to post. You know? haha

& this is another thing, (thx for pointing it out btw). I was doing some major reading in the 2nd gen forum on the tranny issues. HOLY MOLY! I don't wanna go through that BS.

I'm in the process to moving (2 car garage home, yay!) I have to take the dreaded 66 route to work. The traffic in the morning is unbelievable, worse than LA! I really wanna be lazy & drive an automatic.

I'm looking to selling my CLS6...

In the near future (within the a month or three probably sooner)

Either way, I'm looking at something that has a bit more of a kick and I want a twin sister to whats sitting in the Garage right now...

Nice Civic...yeah, if you are from around here then you definately have to keep it stashed away. One of the main reasons I sold my prelude a few years ago. What part of VA did you move to? Hit me up over PM if you'd rather not post it here....

You buy a car to drive it. Not look at it in the garage.

I am so hating/jealous of you right now.. I LOVE the supra. I've actually been struggling between buying a supra & a CL. It just doesn't make sense to me to have 2 garage queens & not have a daily especially when I work in the city (horrible drivers, parkers misc). I've been in the position of having 3 cars & it was excessive.

Anyhow, PA isn't too far from Nova. I'd like to see pics of your cls6 & your selling price. 1-3 months is perfect. I'm still looking & in no rush. I have 2 cars here going on a third when the mini cooper comes in this week.

Thanks! <3 I had to make the valve cover "my own" & "girly" thus... the result haha

SO, I guess I am leaving the CL family for now.

I picked up an 03 TLS last night. So, I get to be a spoiled auto driving bratt for a while. We'll see how much I like owning a 4 door, my first 4 door car in all the cars I've owned!

Heres a bad picture from my work parking lot with my crappy camera phone haha <3
