I just bought a 1998 CL 2.3 Premium 5 speed for 18,500. It only has 15,000 miles on it, and it is fully loaded. Did I get a good price?

 

its not bad price at all. u maybe could have gotten it a little cheaper but not much. i paid 17k after everything tax title etc etc and a extended warrenty to 2004 or 100k miles back in aug 2000 for a full loaded 2.2 cl from an acura dealer. it had 34k miles on it

I bought a 1997 3.0CL Premium a few months ago with 30,000 miles for $13,500+taxes+extended warranty till 2004.

I live in Canada, so the prices a little cheaper over here...

I would assume you got a decent deal for your 1998.

I got a 97 3.0 prem, auto, in January with 43K miles for $16,500... That sounds like a lot but it was practically brand-new inside. It looked like no one had ever sat in it, so I was impressed. Of course, then I bought it. And NOW it looks four years old.

That's a decent price. I got my 1998 3.0CL for $18,500, but it had 23000 miles on it. It was on the lot for 21,000

Rule #1 After buying a car do not look at car adds for 1 year. ( You will always find one cheaper)
Rule #2 Never ask some one else if you got a good deal (Their deal is always better)
Rule #3 Never pull along side a Corvette in a CL ( You never win )
Rule #4 There is always a pimple on your face when you meet the girl of your dreams when you are 15.

 

I have to agree with Jet Jockey's #1 and 2 Rule. And 3 of course but i dont think anyone would do that.

With the caveat on rule 3 that by "win" you mean raw performance. If by "win" you mean have a quality-built and supported car with luxurious appointments and a comfortable ride, then the Acura wins every time.
