Going to orlando

Im going to orlando for 5 days and leaving the cL behind taking my friends evo. Is there anything I should do to the cL before I leave it sitting

Is 5 days along time to not drive it? Its the longest i ever went in 2 yrs not driving it. Is anything gonna get messed up? Should I have my mom start it up?!

calm down, your car will be fine, when you get back just start it up and sit for a minute let it warm up. Other then that you really have nothing to worry about.

The only problems you might have is condensation build in the gas tank, just fill it up before you leave. Should have no issues.

the alarm still needs power to protect your car...minimal battery drain...but 5 days
won't kill the car...relax

Ok so i get home today at 3pm...Go for a drive at 6pm get in the car "EHH" "EHH" "CLICK" "CLICK". I thought it was funny at first cause the whole time i was worried about it dying and it actually did. I kept cranking it like 20 times (WAS THAT A BAD THING TO DO?) Soo i called up my friend with a camaro that lives around me and he pulled up jumped the battery for like 2 sec and i tried to start it and it started right up then i let it sit for 2 min and then i drove around for the past 15 minutes. Car seems good now did i do everything right? My friend jus jumped it for like literally 3-4 sec he didnt rev his car or anything jus put it on and then i started my car.

Couple questions...(I have an optima red top that i bought about a year ago)

Why did my battery die? I started the car thursday morning last time. I didnt see any lights that were left on or anything.

Is my battery dying?

What should i do?

so...how old is your battery...a good battery shouldn't need a jump after 5 days of sitting...you may need to look into a new battery

Maybe the only thing that can happen is your idle may go crazy that happened to me when I went to New York for around a week and had to take it to the dealer and they told me my oxygen sensor went bad because of that reason. It's happened twice to me.
