Going into storage

My hometown is doing massive road overhauls (why in Jan. in New England I have no fucking clue). All the roads are torn up with the sewer grates and manholes sticking 2+ inches in the street. So I've resolved to put the Ack in storage for a month or longer depending on money situation and whatnot.

Also, because they don't figure to be done with the road construction until after May (which means August) I'll be taking off my Tein Type CS coilovers and EDFC and sellin' em so check out the black market if you want to be the only first gen. with EDFC! Now to get the pickup road ready! up up and away!

Gotta love storing the CL, mine's been in storage for over a year. Sucks about the road work, that'll be lovely. They repaved my street a week after I lowered my car took months. Car didn't leave the driveway for months

^When are you going to bring the black demon back out of storage?

And bummer about your streets Stoops. But hey, if you got the money for it, then good on ya! You're lucky you have that option.

She's not in storage, I look at her everyday in my 2 car garage, I park next to her every day too, just haven't had time to play with her lately. Steelers season is finally over so I get half my weekends left, I just bought this house 4 months ago and have been working on it non-stop. Just restained 3 doors today, installed a new door knob which required dremeling and modification to the door, plus a handful of other bs like working on my basement and garage, still got car parts all over the place. But I'm getting stuff together for another massive attack on the ack. Taking her off full insurance for the winter tomorrow, called today but have to call during business hours, but my buddy and I are starting the trunk soon, so that'll get me back into the swing of things, he said wait a couple weeks, so I'm almost ready to roll on that. I have a fire under my ass to get her out in the spring though, I was too busy buying a house and moving to really do much to her. Let alone get her inspected which I wanna do real bad. Plus spring time I need to change every fluid in the car, seafoam, change the plugs, hopefully the injectors, and a million other things.

the only thing to be scared of is if there is a crack in you block that is sealed by built up carbon and seafoam will clean the carbon and expose the crack to make you leak oil.

DONT DO THE SEAFOAM TREATMENT TO A HONDA!!!

I have a friend that works for Honda R&D and he has told me before DO NOT USE SEAFOAM. It does not work well with honda engines and will actually degrade/dry out seals and such in the motor and will cause more problems.

Seafoam works well in Euro cars, esp older models, but do not use it in a Honda.

he does have a point. i dont think its too true if done right but if you do use it and dont use your car it will eat the seals away. if driven and properly maintained seafoam will burn off and or filter itself tru the oil changes.
honda engine chevy engine its still an engine
