Glad I found this place

Hey guys. Im glad I found this board. Ive got a 98 3.0 that Ive been wanting to modify. Ive been reading the threads here for a couple days and have gotten tons of ideas and information. I just knew I had to go ahead and join. I'll try to get some pics of my car up, its stock right now but wont be for long.

I look forward to talking with everyone.

Quick question and I know this has probably been covered numerous times. What rear lip are you guys using? Accord 94-97 lip?

Thanks

lol @ your avatar disgruntlednut

EDIT: Oh hell I might as well say something useful.

Kellen, the search button is your friend, I learned the hard way... aka posting too many threads that were all too pointless, go ahead and look my stuff up to avoid following in my footsteps

Gnate, you are right. The search button works wonders. It even saved me from starting another thread asking a question thats been answered tons of times.

My first round is gonna be:

18" wheels
Lowering
Lip kit
paint

Then I'll start on the motor stuff. Not sure what I want to do with it yet.

If you're going 18s, you better slam the shit out of it. 18" + No - Moderate Drop =

You'll get there eventually. If you go with KYB AGX, you can adjust the stiffness.

Yeah,i'm just stuck in the mindset that getting Ksports is better quality then getting shocks and spring seperately, especially if im getting it for les than 800, you think kyb agx would be best? Idk i kinda wanna slam the shit out of it next summer, but hell who knows.

Coilovers of course are a better option, I was just suggesting the AGX's if you're worried about the stiffness.

Honestly, my buddy has a Civic dropped on Skunk2's which have a reputation of being very stiff. I didn't mind the ride at all. I think K-Sports would be fine.

Im looking at either bronze or black wheels. 1'5" drop or so. My car is red so I think the bronze wheels would look sweet.

Like I said, the AGXs are an alternative if you're very worried about the ride.

Well what i've heard about the stiffness is a bit scary. So let me rephrase...
Would you suggest ksports for a car that is a daily driver in new england (winter weather... bad people... even worse pot holes.)
