I think the people who buy the IS300 mostly pay for the name. Granited, the car looks nice (not tight as fuck) when it's hooked up but the damn car has like 220HP and runs low-mid 15's stock. WTF is that!? Preludes can beat that time. It's the first time Lexus tried to add something different in their line, a sport luxury sedan. The closest thing to it in the Lexus line up is the GS. The GS outshines the IS in EVERY...way except gas mileage.

 

What about that IS430 that people were talking about? By the way, the STI is by far the tightest, 0-60 in less than 5 stock.

 

Seems like alot of peeps in here don't like Mitsu! But that's all your "opinions"! Again, not all Mitsu's are bad!

Hey your right not all of them are bad, but most of them are! This is just how i see mitsu's from my perspective. My friends have all had turbo eclipses...the only ones that are fast are the first gens., but they still break down every week. The only eclipses to ever look good where the 97-99 but the interior made up enough to make it suck. and anything that mitsu is putting out now is garbage. for the price of an EVO i would buy a R32 Skyline and blow your fucking doors off and have right hand drive.

BTW LLWesMan the IS430 isnt even ready to come over here...probably a year and it will probably be in the 40s which isnt so fun.

-also jam have you thought about the 350Z? for 30 you can get it fully and have the dvd/navi system? i think they're really nice

 

well, i'm almost tired of getting out of my seat to let people in the back seats. the 350z is pretty much a 2 seater, so that is out of the question. i either want a 4 door, or a 2 door with lots of rear space. btw, is subaru a japanese company?

Haha...I'm always looking for new cars. I decided on the STi myself...IF I were to choose one at this point in time. Either that or Supra TT (cept I hate buying used cars).

350Z/g35 = maxed out potential anything less of FI. And I'm not a fan of slapping that on a block that wasn't built for it. The performance mods really are not that good gains wise.

S4 = new ones are not turbo. Old ones are hard as fuck to get break into the 11s. K04s are the largest turbos you can slap on.

Evo = interior sucks...but WAY sharper performance than the STi.

As for the other cars...I'm sick of sub 300 HP performance. You guys need to experience faster cars. Luxury is ok...but performance is better. All show, no go = Rice.

GotRice, that's what i told myself. im not getting any younger. i'll have years to come to get luxury if i want. i just want something that i will not regret performancewise. i agree, the evo's interior is like ass. that's the only thing i like the sti better for... plus the boost controller and cruise control. other than that, i think the evo looks badass with some evo 7 tails. when are u planning on it? it'd be tite if u got the sti and i got the evo.

The sti doesn't come with a boost controller as far as I know. I think you might be thinking of DCCD that the STi has and the Evo doesn't.

If they're really bringing over the FQ330, I'd wait for that. 18psi constant = badass.

As far as what I'm getting, not really sure yet...Hopefully better/faster cars will be out soon.

 

some of you gusy are insane...the Evo is Hot! but id rather get a STi and smoke most suckers on the road....but if you want to look pretty get a 350Z or a S2000.
