Getting a new car...
Okay guys it's time to get rid of my 1st gen cl. I have two choices and they are and 01 bmw 330 ci auto or an 03 cl 6 speed both around the same price but the 330 has navi but more miles. So which car should i get. I really want to avoid the auto tranny so i'm leaning towards the cl. Plus its alot faster also.

I've got an 01 CL-S auto and my friend has the 01 BMW ci auto.
The BMW is faster but not by much, he beats me most of the time but I can get him every now then if I get a better start. I think with a manual transmission you'd be faster.
As for handling there is no question that the BMW takes the cup over a CL, but that's only because the CL has a sports-luxury suspension while the beemer has strictly sports suspension. So it really depends what you're looking for, but if you like the CL and want a sportier feel like the BMW you can always drop it a couple of inches and get a tighter suspension.
What I really don't like about the BMW is that almost nothing is standard. To name one thing, my friend got the extra sound package (Harmon-Kardon) and I think the CL (Bose) sound is better, (the TL's sound is way better). I also like the smooth leather in the Acuras much more than the leather in the BMW. If the BMW has nav it probably doesn't have a 6-disc in dash CD changer like the Acura.
As for maintenance the Acura is the better choice ESPECIALLY if the beemer has higher miles.
Stick with the Acura and you know you'll be happy!!!!
