GDT5 anyone have one
Been pricing the conversion to the 98 rotor over hub for my 97 3.0 but the funds arent available right now.
So does anyone have a GDT5 that I can borrow. I will pay shipping and ship it back.

It is the hub over rotor removal tool. I dont feel comfortable doing all the other DIY ways of removing the rotor (banging it with hammers, throwing it off 30 story buildings, flame throwers and the sort).

You wont be able to do the conversion with that tool... Forget about it. Just take off the 2 knuckles, bring it to a mechanic, and ask him to replace the hubs and wheel bearings... and ask him to put a shitload of anti-seize when he's putting it back together. It'll cost ya around 50-60$, maybe more... Its a real bitch and a half x 100.

The biggest question is why would they put rotor over hub on the rear and hub over rotor on the front. The front are obviously the ones that would get the most use and would require the most replacement. Gotta love engineers, they make so much money that they can pay people to do repairs for stupid ideas they come up with. Next lets put the battery under the back seat, doh!!!
