I put in new gauges and everytime i go to put the dimmer in the gauges stop working...does anyone know how to get the dimmer in and have the gauges still work?? thanks for the help.

 

What wire did you tap into to power the gauges?

I had the same problem when i installed my gauges. There are two red wires comming into the gauge cluster, and i tapped into one and had the problem. I tapped into the other and problem was gone....try it out...

 

yeah you just have to tap in to the correct 2 wires for power and ground! if it doesnt work this way just try switching the wires around?????
