gauge cluster...

sup guys...I tried searching here and found stuff about gauges, but I was actually looking for on how to take the gauge cluster out because I am going to put a carbon fiber gauge cluster...

I can do the first step which is to take out the two screws on the top of the cluster, but after that I don't know what to do. I tried pulling it out but I think there are more screws inside. Do I need to take out the cruise control and light control buttons? How? Thanks guys..

yeah, the cruise and dimmer switches pop out, use a small flat head screw driver at the bottom of the switches to pop them loose, then they unplug from the back. There is a screw on each side behind each switch... then that black trim comes off. (the steering wheel will need to be all the way down) Then there are 4 screws holding the cluster itself in... 2 on the sides, 2 on the top... once the screws are out the top will tilt tward you, then you have to unplug the 3 plugs and unscrew the little metal plates that the top screws went into in order to get it out. Then it will slide out to the right side and its out. Hope this helps.
