gas light?

Hey, does the low gas warning light come on with the rest of the idiot lights when you boot up the car in the morning? I think mine might be burned out. Thanks!

I don't think so either... one way to find out though, keep driving the car w/o filling gas for a couple of weeks. If it doesn't come on, then the bulb burned out

lol, or you could just sit in your driveway, clean your car, and have the car on at the same time. All the time wqhile the car is near E. if the light doesn't come on, then you have your answer.

Well here is another gas warning light question.
This is my first car btw, well, when my gas is low, the gas light comes on (fade in then fade out). after awhile it stays on. does it happen to you guys? is this normal?

Not having the gas light do a self check when you start the car is a pretty obvious mistake by Honda, IMO.

Gas warning lights fade in & out as the sensor floats up and down with the sloshing gas in the tank. Newer cars wait until the sensor consistantly reads low before permanently firing the warning light, but the CL's light will fade in & out as the sensor bounces around.
