G22 swap!

Hey guys. Havent been talking much on here lately but i sure have been around. Anyways i have been doing a ton of research lately on the G22. I am pretty much set to start building it in hopes of having it ready before spring to swap. I have a 99 cl with the F23. Now one question is... Am i better off going with the f23 block or f22 block or does it not really matter? I am having trouble finding either block in decent shape that i want to start with.

I am also looking at pistons to put in it. I found the ones i want to run which should bring the compression to around 10.5 or so. Do you think this is going to be a problem with the H22 head? I am also looking at putting some cams in it. Most likely stage 1 but maybe stage 2. Any probs with that do you think?

Also i believe a H22 tranny bolts right up to either block correct? just wanna make sure. Or is there a different tranny i should look at?

Any input is helpful! Thanks a bunch...

I was reading on this swap also but was thinking the G23 route, with my F22 block and an H23 head. Where I was reading said that swap would be easier than the G22 because everything lined up better. But other things are needing my attention first. Damn you transmission!
