Fuck this! VAFC won't work on F22/f23

I just bought a VAFC and was reading through the manuel getting ready to try and install it. It says like 10 times in there to make sure your vehical is on the application list. So then i look, and theres 2 lists. One is a Japenese list, and one says US spec above it. The F22 is listed on the J-spec chart, but not the US chart. So after looking on Honda-tec, and honda-acura i found no information about people with VAFC on there 4 cyl accords, i got kinda worried. I called APEXI to get the definate answer and some dude who specialized in VAFC's tells me, IT WON'T WORK ON YOUR CAR, OR AND 4CYL. ACCORDS! Dammit, oh well, I got it for $200 brand new and I'm just gonna sell it for like $250. Just wanted to let you guys know so knowbody else buys them for their 2.2/2.3 CL.

maybe niedejb is just using it to control his air/fuel.

I've looked on like every honda forum I know of, and haven't found an F series accord with a VAFC. Maybe it will work, but i'm not even gonna bother. I already have a buyer for $260 which is more than I paid for it.

On another note, I seriously don't even think our fucking cars have VTEC!!! It's the only car I've ever driven that claims to have vtec, but you can't hear a sound change. Ours just gets louder as the rpms go up. All of my friends vtec cars have a sound change and it pulls harder at a certain rpm every time. All of these cars have real vtec to my expierience-rsx-s,gsr,si, ex civic,

even my friends gts celica and spec-v have a vtec type sound at high rpms, i know it's different, it's vvti or some shit.

thats the problem with SOHC motors. you dont feel anything. rest assured tho.. the AFC does work well on our cars, you just have to get it dyno tuned.

trust me even though i have a j30a/3.0 CL i would say definately that we have VTEC, i have the vafc in my car and when i gun it and it egages in VTEC at the setting i have at 4000 rpms, the car ROARS, i need to get some vid with sound so you guys can all hear what im talking about

when i gun it, and im on the street its so load it get heads to turn from the vtec just kicking in so i know i have vtec, i would double check your diagram, also if you want i can try to help you out with wiring, email me at jgiguere17@yahoo.com or hit me up on jgiguere17 on aol im and we can chat, i can go through the old vafc manual the new ones sometimes do have the old diagrams. so let me know if you need some more help

One of the employees where I got my windows tinted has a VAFC in her Accord. Its a racing supply store so im sure hers is tuned. It seems to me VTEC works on the f23 but I've never driven another VTEC car.

after you drive another vtec car you will change your mind. If we do have vtec, it's definately a different kind than all these other cars.

and it's not the DOHC SOHC difference, because the civic ex has a sick vtec sound too and it's SOHC.
