Try to bring it back to life first, using some sort of armor-all or something...

I don't know about replacing them but there is detailing trim. Mine is also fading so I use McGuire's and it works really well.

I tried the armor-all thing... works for a day then it is gone..How's the McGuire's? last longer? if so I might just give it a shot.. because just that part makes the car looks old... if I can get it back to life... wow... she is back to the first day when I got her

It really does make the whole car look worse. Go to AutoPalace, etc. and hunt around their wax/detailing section. I bet there's something there for external rubber and plastic.

I want to say it's called McGuier's detailing trim or plastic trim. Don't use armoral.

you can buy the plastic that is on the sides from acura along with the special clips to hold it in, though I would reccomend being expereienced in pulling windshieds if you are going to rplace those since they are also slightly held in place by the urathene (sp) that they use to seal the windshiled in, the rubber at the top is sealed in with the urethane so that is going no where.

i had to have 2 windshields put in my cl this summer so i got to watch the process in great detail.

that one side plastic piece from acura is 96 bucks from a local dealer i had a piece of metal hit my windshield and it hit that plastic and it was too much to replace, where do they get the idea to charge 96 bucks for a piece of plastic
