I got backed into by a huge 2005 GMC Yukon 4x4. Needless to say, my little CL didn't stand a chance.



Grill/hood is pushed in about 4-5ish inches into the engine.



Theres a huge hole in my bumper that i still dont know what was created by. You can see the size of the truck in the picture.



As you can see my hood is bent about 5 inches up. Not good.



Front emblem also popped off. If you want to buy an emblem, PM me lol.

Onto the story.. I was sitting there at the stop sign for about 10 seconds. I was about to honk when the guy suddenly guns it in reverse. I tried to switch it to reverse but it was too late. . Luckly the guy who hit me was ultra nice and knew it was my first wreck. He knew it was all his fault and was grateful the cop didnt give him a ticket. When the cop got there he was a total dick. He tried to get me to admit it was my fault when the dude clearley told him he did it. He kept asking about my road positioning and how i was sorta near the center. WTF? Not only did he drive me back about 10 feet but the ground was covered in snow and it was tough to see and i didnt want to get too far over. What an ass. Anyway, getting it fixed tommorow. Hopefully ill get a new bumper/hood/grill. Thatd be nice since they had a few scratches anyways.

 

That sucks. Hate to see any car bent up but it really sucks when its a CL. On the positive side...you have an excuse to get a CF hood now.

When will people ever learn to drive?

 

Cant get a CF hood, cause all that insurance crap.

Doesnt look too bad. Be happy, you get fresh parts with fresh paint and so on...

BTW, is the grill completly shot or not? and the symbol, is it complete or is it cracked? cuz if possible, and if the price is right, i might buy them off of you... Let me know

Yeah, it could have been alot worse. Im just glad the airbag didn't go off. If i was about 3-5 feet farther behind him then it would have likley been totaled.

Ill ask if i can keep the grill. Its got a small chip near the center. The emblem has a crack in the middle. You cant notice it all, and im sure some automotive glue could fix it right up.

same thing happened to my accord 2dr except he hit front right, and dropped my bumper about 2 inches smashed my light.....i got dicked by insurance and by the body guy...got all aftermarket parts and my fukin bumper hung an inch after i got it back... and it took 3 weeks man bad memories
