front end protection

i get a lot of rock damage on my 1997 acura cl from driving on interstate. any body tried that clear protection sheet that you apply on the front?? i forgot the name of it but i saw it on a website. it is pre cut and made of mylar?? i might be wrong. just wondering if anyone have used it, how easy is it to apply, and how much protection it gives. i live in the midwest so i get a lot of rock dings and sand from our winters. thanks for any help.

enough with the horse, lets get back to the subject......i believe its a 3M product, i read about it once in car and driver....dont know the site where you can buy it, but believe it must be a good product (to be in car and driver). Anyway, what i'd suggest for install is that you clean your car thoroughly, and give it a nice 3 step wax (clean, wax, polish) then put the film on. It cant be that difficult, im sure its easy to install, maybe spray a little water on the front end then install, then squeegy the water out (the water will give you time to move it around and remove air bubbles)...sorry so long, hope this helps....keep us posted if you do it, i wouldnt mind doing it after i get my front end repaired!
