Can I buy aftermarket fogs and still wire them to the factory harness?

sure can, it still puts out 12 volts... you may have to cut the plugs off, but it will work.

Yep, if they're fogs, they'll work fine. But if they're driving lights and you want them to come on with the high beams, then you'll have to make your own wires (which isn't hard at all).
