foglight wiring

found a foglight kit for 98 & 99 cl's and am wondering if the factory button is the only difference between these and the one for the 97. my dealer will sell me the 97 switch and harnesses if I need them. ah motorsport said the 98/99 kit won't work, but it's hard for me to believe there's that much difference. anyone have any idea?

dajuice27; you 'da man!

marko; the switch is it! Everything else is EXACTLY the same! The '97 kit and the '98/'99 kit are the same, except for the '97 switch (and placement).

The '97 switch is shaped like the seat-heater switch on the console, below the ashtray, and fits into the cutout on the passenger side of the console.

The '98/'99 switch is shaped like the hazard switch beside the clock, and fits into the knockout on the passenger side of the clock.

Good Luck!
