Fog lights- How to install new bulbs?

Ok my CL has factory style fog lights installed aftermarket by the dealer. How do you change the bulbs on them? It looks like you have to unscrew them at the side but they are rusted so before i go to the trouble thought I'd ask.

Yea. I had to replace one of mine recently too and wound up taking the whole fucking thing apart. Kinda tricky clip in there too. Either I was unable to see an easier way of doing it or its a pretty poor design. At least the replacement bulbs aren't too expensive (< $10). Good luck and reply how it went.

Yeah you have to take the whole unit off the car and get into it from the back. Mine are so rusted that when the time comes or when i get the money i am going to replace my factory ones with a nice set of piaa 1400's

Right.

You'll need to remove the 3 screws that hold the fog light to the bumper. Then unplug the wiring connector.

Remove the 5 or so screws on the back of the fog light (make sure not to loosen the screws that adjust the angle of projection).

Once you take the back off, you'll see that the bulb is held in place by a thick piece of steel wire with a loop at the end. Push down on the loop, then slide the wire away from the back of the bulb.

Disconnect the plug that connects the bulb to the foglight.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T TOUCH THE GLASS OF YOUR NEW BULB!!!!

Insert the plug into your new bulb, and reverse the above process.

It's kind of a pain, but easy enough to do!
