Fog Light Suggestions

I have 8000k 55w Hid's in my CL.
I want some fogs to match, but I really dont know where to look.

Ive read the guides and stuff and searched around but I really dont know what to get.

Anyone with suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hella makes some pretty nice fogs. Emran just got a set of angel eye fogs. https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...4&postcount=25
BTW, how do you like your 55w 8k hids? I was thinking of the same setup but I don't want to be pulled over. Are they that much brighter than 35w 6k hids?

yes someone just had a thread on this
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=foglight
if you want real foglights that'll actually illuminate something in bad conditions go for 3k hid's, but maybe that's not your cup of tea

Yea the 55w are a good bit brighter. my friend has 10k 35w HID's and we parked next to each other and turned them on and mine were plenty brighter. If he comes home from college this weekend ill take a pic and post it for you.

With fogs does it make a difference brightness wise in regular conditions?

BTW, since your headlights are 55w 8k hids, you might want to get some 35w 6k hids for the fogs. From what I have been told,
55w 8k = 35w 6k.
3k hids would look sick imo. I love that look but maybe thats not what you're going for.

3000K hid's are mainly used for fog setups, they're yellow, that's the look he's talking about, or you can go 6000K HID fogs

This example is not that great but I can't find a good 6k hit headlight/3k hid fog light combo. I know there is a second genner that had this combo in his avy. It looked GREAT!.

what looks good on our cars? that's personal opinion my friend
i haven't put fogs on mine cuz frankly none of them suit the style of the cl and they look out of place IMO
and if you like that style, then get some 3k HID fogs, cuz they are gonna be way more functional than 8k fogs or whatever you're thinking (again that's my personal preferance)

All depends on what looks good to you, I spent way too much time and money trying to match fogs to hid's and I finally bought 6000K ebay bulbs to match my 6000K hid's, it's all in what you look for

Ones on right
