First day with car. First ticket
Well I got paced by a CHP Plane today ^%^% *&^$ !@#$ 
I floored it to she what she could do and BAM got of the Freeway and got pulled over. Yes call me stupid yes call me an Idiot. That I am. Ticket Specs:
Correctable Violation: NO
Code and Section: 22348(b) vc Speed over 100 Infraction
Aircraft Pacing
Speed Aprox: 110
Max Speed: 65
Location of Violatoin: US EB 50 Zinfindel-Hazel w/of / Sac Co
Beat: 152 Area: 252 Perm Area: 252
Citing Officer: J. Pierce
Officer stated I was paced at 125. I was cooperative and honest. He laughed at my licence picture and let me off for 110
One Word: FUCK
Little bit of a set back. I guesa they notice when your going twice the speed of traffic. Im going to Strip on Wednesday. Ill keep you posted.
On a side note, I have to say as a new owner of a CL. This things got more thorwback than my 64 Bird did. Im addicted.
Just ordered Coilovers. Ordered cold air from a buddy of mine at comptech.
and no Im not proud

Man you should know that CHP is all over that area (Sunrise to Folsom on 50). If you really wanted to test it out you shoulda gone further up the hill or found a back road somewhere. CHP is very sneaky in the Sacto area.

wtf, they actually do pace cars with planes? i see those speed checked by aircraft signs all the time and think its a joke cause its gotta cost more to fly the plane than they make off tickets.
Well they were ok to fly today cause I have to pay a hefty ticket and A CBR-R zoomed past me at that speed. They go him (or her) too.

damn dude, sorry to hear that. same thing happened to me. was going about 120 and the cop li-dared me at 110, but I played innocent that I didn't know I was going that fast, and I got off with a warning because "he didn't lock the speed into the gun". I was so freakin happy.

yeah, well I pulled out the "I had no idea I was going that fast. my last car shook like crazy at anywhere near 80 mph, and the ride was soo smooth I had no idea." then he asked why Iw as so nervous because Iw as shaking a little bit, and I said "becasue I just got this car and if I get this ticket, I'll lose my car, I'll lose my liscense, my insurance will kill me evven more, it'll ruin my life." and I started to cry a little bit, meanwhile I was thinking "god I hope this works".
sure enough it did, and I learned my lesson.

yep 1st and hopefully last time for speeding i was doing 125 on I-287 North- cop gave me a break and gave me a ticket for 25 over... only reason being I had a state trooper PBA card which he calmly proceeded to throw into the highway when i handed it to him. did the unsafe operation thing and got out of it with no points but 500$ less in my pocket. learned my lesson keep it on the track or off road

In sacramento they are not just doing their job bu they are California Highway Pigs. Dont get me wrong cops can be a good thing (when your girl is beating you) but up here, especially in the Barbie communities they are assholes
