Finally took some pics of my completed red engine job. I thought the intake cover would be too much so i left it black, what do you think? I know it might be kinda ricey but i like doing things to my car and i dont have any more money to blow on my car now so little cheap things will have to keep me happy All comments welcome (good and bad)

 

ok im in the process of paintin some shit too ... im doin the strut bar paint seems to be not stickin good ... i sanded it down slightly.. any thin else you do to make it stick good?? how many coats... thanks

I think it looks fine. If you ever get cold air intake, get the red piping, that will make it look real good. Ricey or not, its still tastefully done, IMO.

 

yeah that was the worst thing to paint. I sanded the heck out of it and than primed it. Than i put on light (very light) coats of red. It took like 4 or 5 Hope that helps.

Actually i just put a ton of spray paint on a piece of paper and dipped a q-tip in it. Than I just used that as a small brush, worked great

 

..i've been ripping the worst ass all night.. i ate like a cheese fondue.. and a pepperoni pizza before.. but seriously, this is ridiculous.. i can't even sleep it stinks so bad

Anyway 1stGenCL, looks good... Im with hougee, some red split loom tubing would look good or the vaccum hoses.
