so yesterday I go to good year to get my wheels rebalanced. I tell them, hey the cars so low it won't get on a lift. They say that they deal w/ lowered cars and it shouldn't be a problem. But i'm persistent in it won't get on a lift, but let them try anyways. So while waiting in the waiting room I hear a loud bang, walk outside and these dipshits have ripped my bumper off


But they fixed it and made it fit better then it did and gave me half off on the wheel balancing which they had already given me a discount on.

well i guess you came out on the better end of things, but still the time it took and the shit you had to go through may not have made it worth it

i dont trust any of theose guys at jiffy lube , or goodyear, or NTB, or mitus or any of theose places...last time i was in there, they about F*ed up everything they could in my car...the seats were both up as far as they could go and leaned back as far as they could go (they were pressing in rear seats) then they jacked up all my stereo turning up the gain and went through my CD's to find one with bass (theose F*ers) and then all they shit i had inside my car was all tore up....i dont trust theose places anymore..

Those places all suck. My buddy just had his Lexus pretty much explode on the road the other day. they changed his oil and oops... forgot to put on the oil filter. The thing started on fire about two blocks away. It's a total loss, it's basically gutted.

this place is actually good, they've done alot of free work for me in the past. They've mounted and balanced a few tires for free along w/ repairing numerous flats at no charge. They also called in a body guy to fix my bumper in no time. But yea, this is the first time i've taken my car somewhere, I usually do everything at my house or at my buddy's shop. This time I was just to lazy to take the wheels off myself and didn't have a way to get them up there this time Never again though

hehe when i got my exhaust done the dumbass did the exact same thing, the passenger side of the bumper was torn clean off my car. and that was after i told them they should use their lift that drops flush to the floor because my car is too low. he was like,"i can get it off fine, my cars as low as yours, esse"...he did a hella good job on my exhaust tho.

i don't have many horror stories about those canned oil/tire places, except les schwab has no idea how to pull the plastic centers off our factory wheels without breaking them. I've had my car for 2 months and when I bought new tires they broke the clips on one. But hey they payed for a new one. And I hate Menike; the lady I bought this car from had them put a new muffler on it, shit the thing is about the size for a CRX, my car sounds like I have a huge hole in the thing. Moral of the story, if you can do it yourself, do.
