Hey guys finally got around to tint my taillights!!!! I think it came out pretty good. I know i need better pics but i cant find the data cable for my digital so here goes the camera phone shots again..... Also would like to thank ROCKBLOCKER..... such an easy fast transaction wish he sold more then just tint hahaha.....

wut exactly is this kit about?

 

What is it about? It's a 3M tail light tint kit from rockblocker (vender) on this site. Go to the group buy section on here, and look for CL tail light tint. It's the shit, I still have yet to put mine on. Debadging first

 

It comes with 2 Pre-Cut film pieces, which already have special adhesive on it... Instructions and a squeegee... DEFINTALY WORTH THE MONEY... and if u want to get technical it protects your taillights, which I don’t think, anyone cares about... LOOKS MINT!!! and ROCKBLOCKER is the man to buy it from

 

and regular tints wont work...

Plus the adhesive wouldn't be as good, and it wouldn't be cut to the exact size and angles of your tail light, these are made specifically for your tail lights.

Yes and no (but you can tint the front ones yourself)

 

When you hit the breaks does it still light up red?

 

At night you really cant even tell they are on(the tints i mean)... During the day its a little dimmer but you have your 3rd brake light do all the work....

 

oh yeh I forgot about the 3rd one, I might give this a try when I get some extra funds.

ya that would look sweet on a red cl. so far i love the way both shades of rockblockers tint looks on our cars.. im just afraid to do it because its one more thing the :cop: can get me for

the darker one is close (correct me if im wrong) in cali you need something to reflect the color red.. the dark tint on the tails dont really have reflection of the color red.. most people say the lighter shade passes but i got enough a cop can get me for im afraid to risk it

 

I think they should make some for the clear corner signal lights that would be nice too... looks good on your car = )

 

The lighter 35% ones still show reflection. I got pulled over with my tint on, cop didn't say a word to me. :cop:

 

Let me correct this statement for you. 35% is the DARKER one.

20% is the standard and lighter version.

This is not like window tint in terms of percentages. Got a call today from a customer who called pulled over for one headlight in blue and the other not. The cop didnt say a word about the smoked tail light kit in 35%

For legality of state laws contact your local State Patrol office.

Here in AZ it is 500ft you need to see red at night. No problem with 20%
