finally...more power!

my new Zex kit is being installed next week. I will be running at our local track next friday! I'm happy about that. Quick question on spraying... I heard I needed to wait until I was at 3000rpm b/f I spray. is that true? also, If I spray in first gear at 3000rpm will the tires break loose? thanks guys.

pm dustbuster or cilvr2.3 they have zex kits as well, but i would assume the best time to spray would be about 3k

if i spray off the line in my 3.0 i just spin tires (75 shot)...if your running a 50 shot you should be good if you just spray from the line, but if you have a bigger shot, floor it then flip the switch around 3k so you keep traction.

You will be pleased with the final product!!! I believe that it's best to spray after 3K. I've done it both ways. Harder to get traction straight off the line.

After 1st gear, the car pretty much is over 3K if you are accelerating full throttle.

i thought there was no switches for zex. it just sprays whenever your at full throttle. are you talking about flipping the remote bottle opener at 3k?

With Zex, it will spray (with the bottle opened and arming switch "on") as soon as you hit WOT (wide open throttle). You can disarm the switch (off), then arm it when you want to spray (as long as you are at WOT).

I do this when I first start out. Otherwise, I just sit there and burn off my tires!

Hopefully, my drag radials will allow me to launch with the switch armed.

HAVE FUN!

BTW: You should be able to launch with spray using the 55-shot.

With a 75-shot, I was getting about 8 runs at the track from a full bottle!

Then again, how often do you get 8 runs at the track (only happened once)!
