hey atleast they put the car on blocks, most people don't do that.
Also, your insurance will fight you for them since they are aftermarket. But just let them know they are all you have and they should give you about 400$ per wheel

That sucks bro! Any ideas who it might have been? They must have known something about you if they knew about the bricks & wood in the backyard. Hell if I were stealing rims I wouldn't be walking around the house looking for something to sit the car on. They deserve to be ...cheap bastards!!!

yea man i agree with Sly...unless the blocks were visible from the driveway...the people must of been scoping out the area or at least known the blocks were in your backyard..

nope they wouldnt its not parked inside your home man not unless you drove the car into the house and fucked up the car and the house at the same time then you could probably claim it under car insurrance and home owners insurrance

Man, I'm so sorry to hear about this. That is the craziest shit I've ever seen though. How could some assholes just come and take your wheels right off the car like that? Worst part is your car was sitting in your driveway, not some mall parking lot or anything. I hope you get the insurance money and the fuckers get caught.

Damn, I am so sorry for you. One of the worst feelings in the world is when someone violates your property. Call your homeowners insurance and see if your covered or not, the car is on your property, whether it's in the driveway, garage on setting in your kitchen. It's worth finding out. Your at least going to get the money for stock wheels, so don't worry. BTW do they make car alarms that respond to a change in gravity?

sorry to hear about that man!
about the insurance thing unless u told them to cover them
(and u paid extra to be covered) then they are not!
i had somewhat of a similar situation, totalled my last car ,rims werent salvageable, but the extra money i was paying to cover the rims was for theft only.

Thats F'ed up man. Sorry to hear that. Thats like a nightmare come true. It sounds like a close hit man. You might even know the bastards. Ask your neighbors if they have seen anysuspicious activity around your house. Definitely check ebay and the local shops. Damn insurance is always trying to pull BS!

Damn man, sorry bout it. Luckily, my car is parked right in fornt of my place, in a townhouse communicty with homes in front and behind. That and the bright projection light that is pointed right down on my car keeps the thieves away.
I installed a shock sensor to the factory alarm, and set it to the most sensitive. It hasn't falsed yet, but the slightest tap seems to set it off. Hopefully it will be enough to go off if some one tries to jack it up...

sorry to hear the bad news........i hate fuck'in thieves. i had 2 civics stolen a year apart. 1st one they got me for my system (kenwood), but they stole the whole car and it had a alarm, 2nd one they got the whole car again it had (ww 4 piece kitted ,r-3 focals, viper alarm, removeable steering wheel, and 16 wheels locks) and they still got me. he used a roll-back tow truck. yeah, police caught the asshole trying to strip it. SO MY ADVISE IS MAKE IT HARD FOR THE FUCK'IN THIEVES TO GET IT !!!!!! BECAUSE THEY'LL GET IT ANYWAY. 9x out 10 its somebody you know or you talk to. and he'll be back to see the new rims you put on. im waiting for the asshole to get out of jail so i can put he ass in the hostital for 4yrs.

damn bro....that sucks.....I know if someone jacked my rims and I saw them on someones car, I'd get out of my car and rip them out of their's and beat the fuck out of them......cause nobody that i've seen around where i live has the same rims as mine....
fuck the insurance too.....did you send in receipts to prove you bought them etc? if you did that, they have to cover them....because then you were paying for them when you made your payment......and if you have full coverage, it covers them anyway, because they are bolted onto your car....most of the insurance companies cover things that are bolted onto or screwed into your car......don't worry, you'll get some tighter rims.....you got an alarm? lol.....if you don't, invest in that. with a tilt sensor too.....that way your alarm goes off if your car tilts up or down from a jack.....

Damn Mace...that blows, especially that you'd cancelled your insurance on the CL...are there any repercussions from your lender since you took insurance off the car? Hopefully they won't find out. Reminds me of being back in Miami, everything getting jacked for no good reason down there
