Fawking Problems

OK I had the clutch replaced yesterday and payed a fortune for it. It is definitely better, but the original FAWKING problem still exist!!!! This is man trans (obviously) When I first take off 1st gear it's not too noticeable. 2nd and 3rd very noticeable. If I go easy on the gas it isn't too noticeable.
Anyway when I let out the clutch and am at say 2500 rpms. AFTER the clutch is out (foot not on clutch pedal at all) and hit the gas, the engine revs, but it doesn't do anything. I have to ease off the gas and baby it to kinda have it catch up to itself??!! I thought for sure it had to be clutch related, but it's a brand new clutch (flywheel, and both cylinders). WTF am I not getting? Anyway any advise would be of great help.
Thanks Bros,
SWClown

If you have to get a new tranny just get a prelude one for around $500 and it will bolt right in and be way better than the one you have.

yea I originally thought the problem was with the tranny, not the clutch, but the clown at Acura West told me the tran was ok...will not be going back there! Anyway i know it will fit, but are there any modifications to make with tran from prelude, and if i opt for this, what year /s should i look for. Mine's a 2.2 97 cl
Thanks

Bolts right on no probs at all. You can get any year tranny from '92-'01 but I would try to get something '96 and up. It can be from a non-vtec (h23) or vtec (h22a) prelude. Try getting one from a vtec one the gearing would be best unless your planning a turbo. If you're really looking to get a nice tranny and don't mind spending some more $ get a tranny with lsd.

Squirm,
Thanks man. I really appriciate the advice. I have a good friend that will help me put it in. He's the man. Head mechanic /manager at Goodyear (Certified in every app you can imagine incl. Ac/Hon) Dudes got four show vehicles (Supra, S-10 Blazer, Legend, and 63 Buick Riveria that I sold him), but I can't catch up with him. He was out of town for a while, but he should be back on Monday. Anyway I gotta figure out how I'm gonna pay for this crap!! Just spent $1700 on credit cards and I'm maxed. I think I'm gonna have to take the car off the road for a couple of months and save insurance $$$. At $550 a month (DWI+live in city) that will add up quickly so maybe that's my answer. Just sucks cause my car is my baby! Anyway every thing happens for a reason i guess so what the hell. Thanks again,
Stefan

Manual Trans covered under waranty?

HOLY CRAP!!! I'm freakin out about how I'm gonna pay for new transmission and it just now hit me: Clutch isn't covered under extended waranty b/c it's wear and tear item, but that doesn't apply to transmission. Somebody please tell me I'm right. I've got 99600 miles on car and extended ends at 100K. this could be really good revalation if I'm correct. Damn I hope I'm right!

Double check it, but I think you just got yourself a free tranny!

My tranny is definitely covered under my extended warranty!
