Sometimes turbo lag is good so you have time to hook up. Im not a big fan of blowers, they are more for low end torque and not top end like a turbo.

get an h22a then turbo it, port polish, add turbo with intercooler (large) add 100 shot wet kit, cams, pistons, rods, ignition, i would go with a t3 or t4 turbo, hks blow off valve.
hey is our engine bay big enough for teh 2JZ engine? hey d you can finally build your cl into that ricer BS with brian spilner. hehe but seriously would a 2JZ fit or what motors can the cl's fit in the 3.0's and 2.3, 2.2?

but what would the difference be, the prelude motor is dohc versus the CL which is sohc. They are two different motors, yes there are similarities, but one ecu has that extra cam to work with to get the extra power.

Actually you can put about any motor in any car but if you ever tried something like that - you'd better have a shit load of cash and time.
the biggest, most powerful, reasonably priced (I use that word loosely) engine to put into a first gen would be the CL type "s", which has been done before. other then that the 3.0's should keep their motor in there. The 2.3's should, without a doubt, do an h22.
