Fastest 2.2?

Who's got the fastest 2.2, what does it run and what mods do you have?

now when u say fastest 2.2 will that include those 2.2/2,3CLs wit da engine swaps or do u mean just the regular 2.2

And i think he meant the fastest F22, not H22.

A guy had his built and turboed to around 300hp @ 12psi or so, though i don't know if he ever had a dyno to prove it.

if niedejb's f22 @ 13psi dynoed 253 at the wheels it was close to 300 at the crank, so maybe its possible on a built f22. niedejbs had stock internals at the time. i dont know what happened to him, but it would have been nice to see a track run.

i think he means D98. His h22 is built and turboed, and there was a thread where he talked about it probably pushing over 300hp. He said it puts a mean hurtin on a svt cobra from a roll

nah the guy on blackmarket that was selling the f22 turbo setup said his car was around 300hp, 290tq. Just saying what i've read, i don't know if this is or not.

No kidding. Without some strong internal parts, the HP gains from bolts-on mods is pretty limited for F22s/F23s.

you can probably find a turbo kit for 2G's. Used probably less.

The record holder for the fastest all motor single cam is(believe it or not) an F22. It's in a CRX that does 10 sec. It's on the prospeed web site but I cant pull it up right now. Thats cool for an F motor!

niedejb's setup was based on the FMAX kit which is about 3300 new. They are tough to find used but possible. The problem with this is there are a lot of non reusable parts (gaskets, oil fittings) and possible missing things that you will have to piece together. He made some improvements on it (boost controller, fuel pump, ignition) before he dynoed into the 250s.
