personally, i didnt think it was a great movie. the acting wasnt very good (my favorite actor is De Niro so i guess anything less to me is bad acting), the reality of the Nissan Maxima running 9's is few and far between, a heavily modded rx7 ( the white one) will crush a heavily modded teg, and ja rules teg was butt ugly! whats up with the front grille being mounted on the outside of the bumper? but it was cool, just not what i expected. the main dude with the eclipse needs some serious acting classes!

i dont member a white rx7.. your talking about the red one right??

the white rx7 raced the bitch with the pink silvia and lost in the desert. the best main cars by far was the supra, red rx7, and the s2000. and i dont think anybody bought that movie for the story. its like reading playboy for the articles

I agree! But I have to admit that I watched for a 2nd time last night.

I didn't see it at the theater, so I figured spending $14.99 was worth it.

To me, the best car was the '69 Charger (well, the red Supra [?] was pretty cool). Why did they crash it (the Charger)? There were plenty of ricers that could have been crashed instead.

There was a white RX7 that raced during "Race Wars".:P

My girlfriend went down to Cabo last spring break with some friends. The main actor, the one that needs classes, was down there also. One of my girls friends met him at a bar and spent the night with him, so she says anyway. But she is pretty hot and anything goes in Cabo. She said he was really nice and not too cocky. BTW, awesome movie, even though I don't think that serious racers put neon lighting underneath their cars.

i thought the pink car was a teg with the silvia headlight conversion? silvia's driver seat is on the right side like the real yellow one. or is that a skyline? had to be a teg. i will look at the body tonight.

well, it is the best racing movie since Days of Thunder (NASCAR film for thoise of you that don't know) starring Tom Cruise....

My girl ordered it for me for X-mas... best thought out gift.... for a guy like me that is...

As far as "Vin diesel" is concerned... yea ok... he isnt the best actor in that movie, although he has been decent in a few others... can't think of any names though...

anyway... he's from NY and bounced at local clubs... i gotta respect that.. he's home grown and from my area...

rmstoico's right. its no "meet the parents". jk rm

I have no idea why he would even agree to that one but he's rich and I'm not.

I thought the movie was good cause I dont get too much of the import scene out here in the sticks.

still love the movie though because its the first one about imports
