Farewell Old Friends 56k beware
I know I haven't been around lately, I have been checking up on the forum from time to time to do a little lurking. Had to stay away so that I wouldn't keep getting new ideas for the car and pouring more money into the ride. Well long story short, My CL bit the dust in a nasty accident on thanksgiving. Insurance refused to fix it so they cut me a check instead. Stripped the car clean of everything that I could pull out, even the alarm got pulled. I've moved on to bigger and better things. Picked up a low mileage E46 on Tuesday . I've got to say I cant believe it took me this long to get into a BMW. Well here's a few pics of what happened.

most of what we stripped out was the audio/video, wiring, alarm. that alone took almost 4 hours with two of us going at it. unfortunately the insurance company took the car from us a day early before i had a chance to really strip it down. headlights were toast, hid's were busted, intake got smashed by the yellow-top. i grabbed what i deemed the most important things to me which was all the audio equipment. i wish i had another day i would have grabbed the suspension, wheels, and the newer leather seats that i put in last year. still got a passenger seat in great condition though....

btw its a 2000 325i w/ 75k on the odo. got it from a really nice guy that was moving over to cali to be closer to his winery. paid almost nothing for it. was kept in a garage its entire life with a 61 vette and 2010 escalade on 24's. pretty sure it was babied its entire life judging by the paint and interior on every car he owned
