Farewell, CL
So I got approved for my loan today and the CL is going off to auction next friday.
I'm buying this 2005 Mazda3 Hatch 5 speed with just under 72k miles on the clock. It is currently owned by a man who is 50+ years old and it was garage kept and meticulously maintained. He even sprayed off the salt from winter driving every time he got home with heated water, then kept it in his heated garage
It also has dashboard protective covers, it looks like there are floor mats on the dash lol
Unfortunately it's not coming with the roof rack.
I'll post more pics once I get it in my possession.
Thanks to everybody for their help over the past two years, especially Chris, Chris, Chris (Blackack,Cocoa,Infammus) Justin, Mauricio, and many others!
Thanks everybody for answering all of my stupid little questions and putting up with my crap in the past :gheyhug:

Thanks guys!
Chris: I don't really want to deal with the hassle of having the CL on my lawn for months trying to get someone to buy it as is, needing the repairs it does, and I also don't want to have it laying around forever while I part it out, so I paid my mechanic $100 to take it to the dealer auction. They only get to buy the cars based off of their appearance, once they get in and feel the steering, they'll have already purchased the car, and it cleans my hands of it for good. Works out, even if I don't get as much money as I'd like. I'm hoping to get around 2k for it.

Nice Nate! Love the blue! Great pick up bro.
That's what I was thinking... Especialy since this guy, "sprays off the salt from winter driving every time he got home with heated water, then kept it in his heated garage." I doubt a 50+ year old would put those stickers on. He probably lets his son drive it or something, and we all know how we treat our parent's cars.

haha I wish it was a MS3! But it's more than enough car for me. It's actually really torquey for a little 2.3L, i wasnt paying attention at a light the other day and got on the gas to catch up and chirped effortlessly haha.
As for stickers +1 to aznxTL's response. This guy is a wilderness man, he has kayaks and stuff, and he only has a daughter, who lives in colorado.
I'm bringing it home tonight! I'll snap some pics if theres still any light by the time it's here, if not, tomorrow afternoon for sure

If you work fulltime, you can afford it at any age. Hell, I was making 45 grand a year just to start when I was 18. Now I'm poor again since I'm a student again >_>, I'll be keeping my CL for a while lol. I was actually planning to finance a speed 6 earlier, great car but good choice with the mazda 3. You don't really need a fast car till later.

You could always use the dash carpet on sunny days if you don't have a windshield reflector. Or you could use it as a doormat.
congrats on the car. could use an interior wash though
