The cl didn't have an option for tint when it came out did it? If not then I guess someone tinted my windows before I got the car... I always thought it was a factory option but perhaps not.

did it? not sure. No one ever mentions it when they put up things about the factory settings... or stock settings.

 

i dont have tint.. so.. i dont think its stock.. i think all honda/acuras have a tint option... maybe..

cuase it has a little thing in the corner..that says Honda Temperlite Tint...and some more small writing....

i wish my cl came tinted so I won't need to get a tint job.. anyways my brother-in-law have a brand new accord and it came tinted (2000 model)

 

the stock tint isnt that great..im gonna get mine darker when i get the chance...i think its only 35% all the way around..not sure on it though

 

35% all the way around tahts pretty fucking decent thats like a 200 tint job right there.

 

i have a 98cl w/leather it came w/5% factory tint. I add 20% for $145. But i know that like lexus has a factory option for tint on certain model as a option.example: base model 35% bronze tint not a option ,ls model 35% tint is a option and this would be from the factory and not someting the dealer would have done.i have never seen a acura cl w/tint but i have seen tl's w/factory tint.

The tint on our windows is the green tint. It removes UV rays to protect the leather, etc. Anything more than that was put on by the dealer.

 

The "tint" that comes from the factory is called privacy glass. It is not the same kind of quality tint film like llumar, solarguard or etc. Unlike quality aftermarket tint films, the privacy glass does not proctect your car's interior from heat and UV.

 

anyway I like the look of whatever is on my car.
